Care Instructions for: Sherpa Puffy Blankets, Sherpa Fleece Blankets, Flannel Sherpa Blankets, and Merino SoftWool™ Blankets
Note: These blanket styles are no longer available, but if you still own one, here’s how to keep it in great shape.
Rumpl blankets are designed to resist dirt and odors; however, periodic washing is still needed for optimal performance.
Sherpa Puffy, Sherpa Fleece, & Flannel Sherpa
Wash Instructions: Machine wash using a front-loading washing machine on cold with a non-detergent soap. Regular detergents can wear down the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish that helps repel water, dirt, pet hair, and odors. We recommend the Grangers Clothing Wash + Repel.
Drying: Hang dry or tumble dry low on the gentlest cycle. High heat can damage or melt the fabric.
Avoid: Do not dry clean. Do not use top-load washers with an agitator, as it may shred your blanket
Merino SoftWool™
Our Merino has the natural qualities of wool, which fight against odor-causing bacteria. Most of the time, line drying or hanging it up outside is enough to freshen it up. That said, if you find your SoftWool™ Blanket needs washing, we recommend dry cleaning only.
Machine washing can cause shrinkage and void the warranty.
